Thanos is a strategic investment advisor with deep experience in investment banking, development finance and the mobilization of private capital for innovation-driven sectors. His career spans senior roles at major banking institutions and collaborations with private equity, venture capital and development finance organizations across Europe, the U.S. and emerging markets, with a strong focus on structuring and financing growth projects. As Founder of Acacia Investor Relations (AIR), he supports spin-offs, start-ups and SMEs through financial engineering and business development, including in technology and impact-oriented fields. He has worked closely with European and U.S. public institutions on capital mobilization initiatives and has been actively involved in promoting responsible and sustainable investment. In 2025, he served as Chair of BiG’s high-level roundtable on capital strategies for biotech growth, contributing to the advancement of Greece’s life sciences and biotechnology ecosystem.

Georgios is a driven interdisciplinary professional with over 14 years of U.S. and global healthcare experience in strategic business development, innovation management, venture investing, consulting, and clinical research. Currently, he is leading business development and licensing of 350+ healthcare innovations for Harvard Medical School-appointed faculty and affiliated hospitals, with expertise in neurology, psychiatry, hematology, oncology, and biomedical engineering. Successfully secured partnerships exceeding $80 million with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostic companies. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Neurosciences from the University of Cambridge and an MBA in Leadership and Healthcare Management from Johns Hopkins University. Georgios is empowering entrepreneurs as a startup judge, mentor, and career coach at leading accelerators and business schools worldwide.
