Constantinos Anagnostopoulos is a medical device technology entrepreneur, Founder and current Executive Chairman of Pleioflow Medical Group of companies, a Group with very strong Greek residence developing innovative cardiovascular technologies. He has led the company from concept and intellectual-property development through fundraising, product development, and clinical translation, gaining first-hand experience of the challenges involved in building a deep-tech medical-device company from Greece with international ambitions. His work sits at the intersection of engineering, medicine, entrepreneurship, and clinical innovation, and he is actively engaged in strengthening Greece's emerging medtech and life-sciences ecosystem.

Dimitri F. Dimitriou, FRSM, is a biotech entrepreneur, executive, investor and strategic partnering specialist with over 35 years of international life-sciences experience. He spent 20 years as Founder and CEO of a publicly listed biotech company, building, financing and growing innovative ventures, and has supported numerous start-ups and established companies in translating scientific opportunities into partnerships, investment and growth. Earlier, he held senior commercial and business-development roles for 15 years in big pharma, including Senior Director, Worldwide Business Development at GlaxoSmithKline and Bristol-Myers Squibb, and leadership positions at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals and started his career in Marketing in Novartis. Dimitri has been involved in more than 200 transactions, spanning licensing, fundraising, corporate development and strategic partnerships, and brings an extensive international network across biotech, pharma, medtech and investment. He is Chairman of the Pharma Partnering Summit and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, Royal Society of Chemistry and Royal Society of Biology in the UK.

Alex Letsas is a technology investor and innovation ecosystem builder with extensive experience connecting founders, scientists, investors, and technologists across the global Greek diaspora. Through initiatives such as the Hellenic Atlas, he has worked to map and strengthen Greece's international innovation network, identifying world-class Greek talent across frontier tech, biotechnology, and other emerging fields. He is particularly active in supporting early-stage entrepreneurs, building meaningful connections across innovation communities. His work brings to BiG a valuable perspective on mobilizing the global Greek diaspora and building the networks needed to accelerate Greece's emerging biotechnology and innovation ecosystem.

Lina Nikolopoulou, D.Phil., is a senior communication strategist in health with over 35 years of experience spanning healthcare, public health, pharmaceuticals, digital health, market research, and multi-stakeholder initiatives. She is Founder and Managing Director of MindView, a health-focused consulting company supporting public and private organizations in designing and implementing evidence-based communication, stakeholder engagement, and innovation-driven initiatives. Lina has led strategic communication and dissemination for major European projects, acting as a bridge between science, policy, industry, and society. Her work emphasizes knowledge translation, ecosystem building, and the creation of platforms that connect academia, innovators, institutions, and civil society. She has founded and led initiatives promoting collaboration and dialogue across the health and innovation landscape, with a strong focus on public health impact, digital transformation, and sustainable growth. Lina holds a D.Phil. in Physiology from the University of Oxford and is deeply committed to mentoring, community building, and strengthening Greece’s innovation ecosystem through international connection and strategic engagement.

Jimmy Toulas is a healthcare and life sciences executive with more than 15 years of experience spanning health services management, clinical practice, business development, and data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. In his current role at Pfizer, he works at the intersection of real-world and commercial data, technology, and the biopharmaceutical industry. His career also includes extensive engagement with entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem, both as a mentor and as a co-founder of a company that has become an established participant in the Greek innovation community. Having returned to Greece after an international career, he brings a valuable perspective on connecting global industry experience with the country's rapidly developing biotechnology, digital health, and innovation ecosystem.

Panagiotis Vassiliathis is a senior biopharmaceutical executive with more than 25 years of international experience across biotechnology, specialty and rare diseases, commercialization, business development, and market access. His career has included leadership roles within multinational biopharmaceutical organizations and extensive experience in bringing innovative therapies to patients across international markets. Based in Switzerland, he brings a strong European and global perspective on biotechnology growth, commercial strategy, market access, and the development of successful organizations around innovative medicines.

Dimitris is a multilingual entrepreneur, investor, and corporate development strategist working at the intersection of technology, media, and global partnerships. Based in Los Angeles, he advises startups, established companies, and public-sector organizations on strategic growth, cross-border collaborations, and ecosystem building. His work spans biotech, technology, and creative industries, and he brings a strong international network connecting innovation, capital, and storytelling.

Michael Kalos is an internationally recognized scientist and biotechnology executive and a pioneer in CAR-T cell therapy and translational immunotherapy. During his academic career at the University of Pennsylvania, his laboratory played a key role in the development of the CTL019 program that ultimately led to Kymriah, the first approved CAR-T therapy. His career has since included senior leadership positions across global pharma and biotechnology, including CSO of Immuno-Oncology at Eli Lilly, VP of Immuno-Oncology and Oncology Cell Therapies at Johnson & Johnson, and Executive VP and Head of R&D at ArsenalBio, as well as leadership and advisory roles in several emerging biotechnology companies. He currently advises biopharmaceutical companies and investors on scientific, R&D, and corporate strategy, bringing extensive experience in translating breakthrough science into new therapies and biotechnology ventures.

Thanos is a strategic investment advisor with deep experience in investment banking, development finance and the mobilization of private capital for innovation-driven sectors. His career spans senior roles at major banking institutions and collaborations with private equity, venture capital and development finance organizations across Europe, the U.S. and emerging markets, with a strong focus on structuring and financing growth projects. As Founder of Acacia Investor Relations (AIR), he supports spin-offs, start-ups and SMEs through financial engineering and business development, including in technology and impact-oriented fields. He has worked closely with European and U.S. public institutions on capital mobilization initiatives and has been actively involved in promoting responsible and sustainable investment. In 2025, he served as Chair of BiG’s high-level roundtable on capital strategies for biotech growth, contributing to the advancement of Greece’s life sciences and biotechnology ecosystem.

Hrissi Samartzidou is a senior life sciences executive with extensive experience in commercial strategy, product development, business development and strategic partnerships across the global biopharmaceutical industry. Through leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, she has worked closely with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies across the drug-development continuum, from early discovery and development through manufacturing and commercialization. Her experience provides a broad industry perspective on how emerging biotechnology companies can access the capabilities, partnerships, and global infrastructure needed to advance innovative therapeutics toward the market.

Georgios is a driven interdisciplinary professional with over 14 years of U.S. and global healthcare experience in strategic business development, innovation management, venture investing, consulting, and clinical research. Currently, he is leading business development and licensing of 350+ healthcare innovations for Harvard Medical School-appointed faculty and affiliated hospitals, with expertise in neurology, psychiatry, hematology, oncology, and biomedical engineering. Successfully secured partnerships exceeding $80 million with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostic companies. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Neurosciences from the University of Cambridge and an MBA in Leadership and Healthcare Management from Johns Hopkins University. Georgios is empowering entrepreneurs as a startup judge, mentor, and career coach at leading accelerators and business schools worldwide.

Eleni is Head of Sector for Scientific Impact and Feedback to Policy at the European Research Council (ERC), where she leads initiatives to enhance the visibility of ERC-funded frontier research across scientific, policy, and societal domains. With over 20 years of experience in science policy and strategic development, her work has focused on fostering innovation, advancing sustainability, and strengthening the science-for-policy interface. Dr. Zika was the inaugural Head of Programme of the Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU), a €3.7 billion EU-industry partnership advancing circular bioeconomy solutions. She previously served as Head of Sector for Fundamental Life Sciences at the ERC and at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre. Before joining EU institutions, she led international policy at the UK Medical Research Council. She holds a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Fellow of the US National Academies.
